Banana Cake – Emily Christensen
2 ¼ cup flour
1 2/3 cup sugar
1 ¼ tea. baking powder
1 ¼ tea. soda
1 tea. salt
2/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup buttermilk
3 eggs
2 cups mashed, ripe banana (about 4)
Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan at 350˚ for 45 minutes.
Frosting:
1/3 cup butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 ½ tea. vanilla
2 Tlbs. Milk
