Barbecue Sauce
½ cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
½ cup finely chopped onion
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup cider vinegar
¼ cup prepared mustard
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
In a saucepan, stir together all ingredients. Stirring frequently, bring to boil; reduce heat and boil gently 15 minutes to thicken. Brush on meat, turning frequently during last 20 minutes of broiling or grilling. Makes 2 cups.
