French Bread

French Bread

½ cup warm water
2 Tlbs. yeast
2 cups hot water
3 Tlbs. sugar
1 Tlb salt
1/3 cup shortening
6 cups flour


Mix as bread. Roll jelly roll fashion. Bake at 375˚ for 15 minutes. Then 350˚ for about 30 minutes.
