Boiled Fruit Cake – Elicia Christensen

Boiled Fruit Cake – Elicia Christensen

2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 cup shortening
1 pkg. raisins
1 tea. cinnamon
1 tea. Nutmeg
1 tea. cloves. 
1 tea. allspice

Cook on stove top 10 minutes. Cool to luke warm
Add: 

2 eggs
2 tea. soda
Nuts 
2-4 cups flour. 


Bake at 350˚ for 45 – 55 minutes
