Pumpkin Bread – Sheri Johnson

2/3 cup shortening
2 2/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 can (1 pound) pumpkin
2/3 cup water 
3 1/3 cup flour
2 tea. soda
1 ½ tea. salt
½ tea. baking powder
1 tea cinnamon
1 tea. cloves
1 pkg. chocolate chips 


Pour into 2 well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350˚ for about 70 minutes/until toothpick comes out clean.
