12 cups clean wheat
2 cups sugar
½ cups hops
3 yeast cakes
Put wheat in shallow pan in 400˚ oven and brown well, stirring so it won’t burn. Put browned wheat and hops in sack and tie loosely. (It swells about double). Put in large kettle of water (3 or 4 gallons) and boil until desired color. Remove sack and add water to make 5 gallons. Cool. Now add yeast and sugar and let stand over night. Bottle. DO NOT LET IT FERMET!!
